Collect Donations: Collect as many donations as you can before October 4th, 2017. Every dollar does make a difference. Think of everyone you know; family (grandparents, aunts, & uncles), parents' friends, employers, co-workers, and neighbors. Also check for employers' matching donation programs. Don't forget all donations are tax-deductible. Make checks payable to Audubon PTA, our tax ID # is 94-2733037. (If your company will NOT match to a PTA/PTO, make checks payable to Audubon School (Fed Tax ID# 94-3083935)).
Remember 10 donations of $40 each will meet your donation goal.

What do I say?:
"I am raising money for my school, I am going to participate in a Move-A-Thon. Will you sponsor me? I am trying to raise at least $400 to support Audubon's programs. Can you sponsor me for $___?"
ALL donations are welcome, regardless of amount. Every donation makes a difference.
"100% of the donations of this fundraiser go to our school to fund RTI (Response to Instruction & Intervention), educational assemblies, Art In Action, teacher support, technology (equipment, supplies & aide), library aide & support, classroom supplies, and many other needed programs supported by the Audubon School PTA. All donations are tax-deductible!"
When they say "yes!" Thank them for their support and collect the money. Write the name, telephone & email of your sponsor and the exact amount of the donation. Collect cash or check donations. Credit/debit card payments can be made through your 99pledges page or on our PTA website.
Ask donors if their employers have a matching program. If so, please include the employers name on the donation envelope and any forms the donor supplies from their company. (Matching money should be counted in your total, although it will be sent later by the company.) The donor is responsible for filing for employer matching.
Be polite regardless of the response.
Before turning in your donation form, check the actual donations collected, employer matching donations, the total, and the sponsor contact information.
Make sure it is correctly & clearly filled out and that the permission form is signed.
