matching gifts & volunteer grants

Audubon programs depend on your generous contributions and also the crucial Corporate Matching Gifts.

It’s hard to believe that statistics show an average of 78% of donors are unaware of the Corporate Match, while there is potential to generate 50% of a non-profit's fundraising goal through Matching Gifts. Corporate Matching ranges from 1:1 to 5:1 with a minimum and maximum limit. Similarly, most corporations offer Volunteer Grants ranging from $10 to $25 for every hour of volunteering. The Audubon community volunteered for more than 6,200 amazing hours last year!

Thanks to all the donors for following through on the matching gifts process! Audubon PTA received roughly 20% in Corporate Matches and about 0.1% in Volunteer Grants last year. This is a tremendous opportunity for the Audubon community as Audubon is struggling to meet the need. Your support is needed now more than ever. The process would be as simple as filling your details online.
If you are unsure if your employer participates in Corporate Matching, please contact your Human Resources Department and ask about “Matching Gifts” for “501(c)(3)” organizations. If you have any questions, or need help or a receipt, please feel free to reach out to our Fundraising Chair at

In these unprecedented times, many corporations have doubled their match to help non-profits. So far, we have gathered a partial list including Apple, Blackbox, Caterpillar, Disney, Facebook, Genentech, Google, and Pepsi Cola that have doubled their matching. Please reach out to your Human Resources Department for details.

We can't do this without you! Now more than ever, we are grateful for this amazing Audubon community. The spirit we’ve seen so far this year is so refreshing and we hope we can keep this vibe going throughout the year Thank you to each and every one of you for your support. Audubon feels like a “little” school because our “big” community comes together time and time again.
