What are you going to make?

 

A Makerspace at Audubon opens possibilities for all students to imagine, explore, collaborate and create. Makerspaces inspire creativity, encourage problem-solving, build perseverance and critical thinking skills.We are excited for the new learning opportunities this space will provide for all our students!

 

The amazing opportunity for our students is in the works but we need a little help to get started. We are asking for the following items that you may be able to donate to school if you have them lying around. 

 

Specialty items:

  • 3D printer - If anyone has one lying around not being used. Please only donate printer in working condition. Any brand.
  • PLA filament for 3D printing any color
  • Sewing machines - any brand, please only in working condition.
  • Lego Mindstroms kit
  • VR glasses - any brand, working condition.

Household items:

  • Plastic trays 9*12 - for students to carry their lego or other projects
  • Air dry clay
  • Cardstock any color
  • Glue sticks
  • Markers
  • Thread
  • Fabric remnants
